Flags Wave Proud Along Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills

Jeff Flohr has a collection of flags from around the world and sometimes chooses which to fly based on the headlines of the day.

Anyone who's traveled along Ardmore Boulevard has surely seen the flag-decorated bank in front of the home at the corner of Newport Road in Forest Hills.

The colorful collection that features both American flags and those of nations around the world belongs to Jeff Flohr, a history teacher at Oakland Catholic. In his basement, history lives in the form of hundreds of flags wrapped carefully in plastic until it’s their turn to fly, WTAE-TV reports.
