Hole in Our Gospel Book Study

What does God expect of us?  Is our faith just about going to church, studying the Bible and avoiding the most serious sins--or does God expect more?  Have we embraced the whole gospel or a gospel with a hole in it?  Beginning on January 19th, join other adults in exploring these questions and more as we read and discuss The Hole in Our Gospel by Richard Stearns, president of World Vision U.S.  The book, which tells of Stearns' journey from being a corporate CEO to working with the poorest of the poor, was awarded the 2010 Christian Book of the Year by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.  The seven week discussion group will meet Thursday at 7p.m. in the John Wesley Room, from January 19th to March 1st.  Please contact the church office at 412-731-2511 to register and to order your book or call to register and bring your own copy of the book.
