Combing Through Craigslist: Unique Stuff for Sale in the Forest Hills-Regent Square Area

Where else but Craigslist would you find ...

We decided to comb Craigslist to find some of the more unique items for sale in the Forest Hills-Regent Square area. Take a look and see if you agree with this week's picks.

Beautiful Antique Wood Steamer Trunk - $100 (Forest Hills)

"This is a beautiful (large) wooden steamer trunk, one of three, originally from Maryland. All belonging to the same family, last name "CATO." I've cleaned it up since this photo was taken. Sadly the leather straps have torn but it is still a lovely piece, would make a great treasure chest or coffee table. There is a painted monogram "E.A.C." and an original shipping(?) label. Inside the original owner scrawled her name. Besides the straps it is in great condition."

VIKO BAUMRITTER 1960s Mid Century Mod Turquoise Swivel Atomic Chair - $80 (Forest Hills)

"Extremely stylish and comfortable mid century modern vintage chair from the 'Viko' furniture design line by Baumritter's (the company name before they became Ethan Allen). Featured in the turquoise color so popular during the period. The legs and arms are a coppery color. The armrests are wood. The chair swivels. What more could you ask. There is a tiny tear in the vinyl which is depicted in the pictures but overall in good used condition. Still swivels well. The chair measures approximately  30 1/2" H x 29"W x 25" D."

Slot Machine for Sale - $360 (Wilkinsburg)

"Slot machine for sale asking $360."

Hard Rock Cafe Shot Glasses - $40 (Swissvale)

"Twelve Hard Rock Cafe Shot Glasses. Here is a list of the cities represented: Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, San Juan, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Sky Dome."

Free lime (Swissvale)

"Free lime (loose) - you haul."
