I am starting this Blog for just 1 reason. Last week there was a story so drastic that it involved a local Mayor chasing down someone and brandishing a weapon. MAyor "Buckshot" John Fetterman was in front of his house when he thought he heard automatic machine gun fire. He was with his 4 year old son and Buckshot was so concerned for the safety of his son he put him in the house and jumped in his truck. He claims he had seen a masked black man dressed in black.
Buckshot's story has too many holes. As a mayor he runs the police department BUT IS NOT "a law enforcement officer." He doesn't have the training and certification which our police officers earn through months and years of education. Buckshot just grabbed his shotgun kept under his truck seat?
Does the mayor have a "carry permit."
I know plenty of people who have carry permits who the keep guns in their vehicles and not one of them carry a shotgun.
Why chase the masked armed man dressed in black?
Buckshot Fetterman did violate castle domain. He did violate gun laws when he stopped a person from leaving his presence with any weapon. Thats kidnapping.
He is not a police officer. He is not a concerned father as he left his son in his home and went hunting what he claimed to bean armed man.
Is Braddock Tombstone? Seems like that's what the mayor thinks of it. I saw BUCKSHOT Fetterman on TV cproclaim that it has been 4 years since there was a murder in 15104. Had the mayor got his way there might have been an innocent jogger killed in justification for running by the mayor's house minutes after some fireworks went off.
A well spoken young man jogging was pinned down with a 20 GAuGE shotgun brandished by Buckshot Fetterman. He claims he "showed" the hunted and cornered jogger the gun but did not point it at him. THAT DOESNT MATTER. What would have been Buckshot's argument had he shot the jogger? "I SHOT HIM BUT I DIDN'T KILL HIM?"
MAYOR'S ACTION TELL US WHAT HE REALLY THINKS OF BRADDOCK. DESPITE ALL MAYOR FETTERMAN'S POSTURING HE SHOWS BY HUNTING DOWN A JOGGER NEAR HIS HOME WHAT HE THINKS OF OUR COMMUNITY. HE'S THERE TRYING TO GET RICH WAITING FOR REDEVELOPMENT. HE'S A GLORY HOUND AND HE WENT TOO FAR PULLING HIS OWN GUN AND PINNING DOWN A CHILD. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN HIS OWN HOME CALLING THE POLICE AND CARING FOR HIS OWN CHILD. NOT PINNING DOWN SOMEONE ELSE'S CHILD WITH A SHOTGUN.

your personal attack on braddock's mayor is pathetic. it's obviously personal. this man is the best thing that ever happened to braddock and he almost single handledly is changing the community around. i wish i still called braddock home. i am so proud of this mayor. if only america had more like him. instead of writing hateful posts from a dark room, why not get out there and volunteer? do something productive. shame on you, lhughes.

I do volunteer fool. It is personal from someone who still lives in the area and didnt move away. You can move back! There is plenty of property for you to buy. I take it personal when the children of our area get blamed for their behavior and the mayor can detain a person with a shotgun and nothing happens? Shame on you for endorsing this action. Shame on the mayor saying he "might have" broken the law?
Its simple, you don't chase someone down with a shotgun !!! I dont care if your the mayor or a concerned Dad. Had he really been worried about the safety of his son he would have waited in the house with his shotgun. He was carrying a loaded shotgun in his car which is illegal. He oversees the police...he didnt know that? Funny how the gun was loaded but a round wasnt chambered" and "I showed him the gun and told him not to run away but didnt point it at him," sounds a lot like "I smoked it but didnt inhale."
If he did want a better Braddock, he wouldnt have chased the kid down. See when people get blamed for the bringing up race but this is a situation where its so true. Reverse the roles, play it out in your head and think what would have happened.
Your best thing for Braddock just did the worst thing, he gave a young black kid a valid reason to reject authority. Plus the mayor continues telling half truths. Try living here and not commenting from your dark room in another area or state or country.

Ignorance is when your first argument reflects to race bc that's all you have to offer. You must not have watched the "jogger" describe his outfit, did you? Full ski face mask, goggles. Those are the jogger's words. Try again!
