In February, Shaffer Elementary and the Woodland Hills Academy hosted a visitor, Tosin Agbabiaka of Nigeria.
Agbabiaka visited with sixth and seventh graders who are participating in the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh’s Student Ambassador Program.
Agbabiaka presented a program entitled “Life in Nigeria Through a Nigerian Lens.” In addition to his presentation, the students also had an opportunity to play the African version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." All of the answers provided facts about Nigeria and Africa. After the students viewed the slide show about Nigeria, their visitor performed a traditional Nigerian song.
