Western PA School for the Deaf Hosts Car Show, Block Party
The event this Saturday, Sept. 22, will also feature a talent show.
Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf's annual Community Block Party is an activity-filled day set for 1-4 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 22.
The day features a car cruise with classic and muscle cars, community business displays, children’s games, food and music. The event is held on the school grounds, 300 East Swissvale Ave. in Edgewood.
Another highlight of the day is the children’s talent show. Last week, children in grades K-12 who attend school and/or reside in Edgewood, Forest Hills, Swissvale or Wilkinsburg auditioned for the show.
Saturday, from 1:30 to 3 p.m, they will compete for cash prizes.
