Swissvale's New Fire Truck Shows Its Stuff
Swissvale Fire Department took its new truck to Edgewood Towne Centre for a workout Saturday.

If you wondered about the water in the air over Edgewood Towne Centre on Saturday, here's the answer.
Swissvale firefighters were out with their new Spartan ERV aerial ladder truck practicing hose techniques in the parking lot. A few other trucks were also on hand.
The 103-foot aerial ladder truck is also a 1,500-gallon pumper truck. The truck's ability to deliver water and flame suppressants from above will help limit damage.
