The company started in 1993 in the attic of Lami’s home. Word of her expertise spread and they’ve since expanded significantly, now with more than 34 employees and additional office space in the train station across the street.

Their unique style can be seen in the Pittsburgh region in the form of retail stores like Aeropostale and environmentally friendly buildings like the ranger stations in Sproul, Loyalsock and Rothrock.

Lami has a son, Alex, and daughter, Gina. Running a business and raising two kids was no easy feat, but Lami managed it well by keeping it all close to her. Her offices are right down the road from the elementary school her children attended, making it easy for her to be there whenever her motherly duties called.

“Of course it’s stressful having a business and kids, but it helped that they could always come here or I could get to them in a matter of minutes," she said.

Lami likes to stay close to home in Edgewood where her work and your life intertwine beautifully.
