The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh is forecasting several inches of snow Friday afternoon, and road conditions are deteriorating.

By late morning, roads around the Forest Hills-Regent Square area were pretty much snow covered. Cars were having trouble on some hills and most secondary roads and PennDOT had still not treated some state roads.

Click on "view larger map" for an interactive look at how the roads are where you live.

Then click on the blue camera icon to see live pictures from traffic cameras.

Map Legend:

  • Red: Slow or stopped traffic
  • Yellow: Expect delays but traffic is moving
  • Green: all clear

Let Patch know how the roads are where you live in the comments box below. And add any photos of roads in your neighborhood.

I would just like to give some praise to the Forest Hills road crew. They always do an excellent job. I drove in Friday from Geensburg and of all the municipalities on Route 30 Forest Hills roads were in the best condition by far.
