News Nearby: Plans For a Bonefish Grill at South Hills Village
Restaurant representatives presented plans to the Upper St. Clair Planning Commission Thursday night.
Representatives for the restaurant chain presented to the Upper St. Clair Planning Commission Thursday night.
They hope to open the restaurant by October or November of 2012, which they said is an aggressive schedule.
Bonefish Grill is a seafood restaurant chain that started in Florida. It is owned by the Tampa-based OSI Restaurant Partners, which also owns the Outback Steakhouse franchises.
Representatives hope to also receive approval from the township to have outdoor dining on a patio.
What do you think of the possible addition of a Bonefish Grill in Upper St. Clair? Tell us in the comments.

Wonderful news!!!! I moved here from the D.C. area 3-l/2 years ago -- Bonefish is my husband's and my favorite restaurant -- especially if I want good seafood. Their Firecracker Shrimp appetizer is THE BEST! You will love their food, bar and service. We were so disappointed when we found so many of our favorite chain restaurants missing in Pittsburgh. Bonefish is definitely classy and not what you'd think of as a chain restaurant. We'll be their first customers. But call ahead or arrive early -- it's a very popular place and usually has a wait. Now IF ONLY we could get Sweetwater restaurant in Pittsburgh! Another amazing place with the best food, bar and service, and a great place to socialize and meet people.
