East Catholic School is the first-place winner of the 2012 Celebration of Trees holiday display at Juniper Village at Forest Hills.

The school, located at St. Maurice Church in Forest Hills, received a cash donation of $250 that will be used for school and student projects.

Second place winner was Promise Hospice and third place went to Denise Jobes Hair Salon.

Juniper Village's Celebration of Trees ran from Dec. 2 through Jan. 4. More than 27 trees were decorated in a variety of themes by local businesses and organizations.

Juniper Village at Forest Hills is a personal care community located at 107 Fall Run Rd.
